E-Organics Receives Youth4Climate Award and Showcases Climate Innovation at COP16
E-Organics has been selected as one of the global awardees of the Youth4Climate Call for Solutions 2024, a recognition jointly delivered by the United Nations Development Programme and the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security. The award spotlights the company’s precision farming model, which blends agroforestry, digital farm tools, and hyper-local climate intelligence to help smallholder farmers navigate drought and land degradation.
Following the announcement, E-Organics was invited to join the Youth4Climate delegation at the 16th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, held in Riyadh. The event gathered governments, scientists, development agencies, youth leaders, and civil society in conversations focused on land restoration, drought resilience, and sustainable food systems.
Across the week, E-Organics contributed to discussions highlighting the importance of community-driven climate innovation. The company’s work was featured within the Youth Pavilion activities and other thematic sessions exploring how digital tools, regenerative agriculture, and youth-led leadership can reduce vulnerability in dryland farming regions.
E-Organics also participated in a session on the Italian “Piano Mattei,” exploring partnerships for sustainable land management in Africa. This platform provided space to reflect on the role of African youth innovators in shaping future land-use pathways and building inclusive climate resilience.
The Youth4Climate award and the engagements at COP16 mark an important milestone for E-Organics. They reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting smallholder farmers, advancing climate-resilient agriculture, and contributing to global conversations on land and food systems. With this momentum, E-Organics continues to position locally developed innovations at the centre of climate action and community wellbeing.
